Our late, great founder; Arthur Farrell

Arthur founded this great club back in 1971, with a simple but powerful dream - to create a place where the children of Chelmsley Wood could come together to play football, make friends, and grow both on and off the pitch. Thanks to his vision, CCC Football Club became one of the oldest and most respected youth football clubs in the Midlands, touching countless lives over more than five decades.

We were privileged to share special moments with Arthur in recent years - from his rousing rendition of our famous club anthem at Presentation Nights, to his smiling presence at our Player Signing Days, where he proudly met the next generation of C’s players. His joy, humour, and unwavering belief in community spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

Arthur’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of CCC Football Club. Every time a child pulls on the green and white hoops, every goal scored, and every smile shared on our pitches is a reflection of his enduring influence.

Arthur will forever be in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to guide us in everything we do. Thank you, Arthur, for giving us more than just a football club — thank you for giving us a family.
